PacPrint Q&A: Kodak Australia & New Zealand

Robert Mollee
Sales & strategic product groups director
Kodak Australia & New Zealand

When was your company's first PacPrint?

In 1996, I believe.

Can you name any milestone launches at previous PacPrints?

Magnus series CTP platesetters, Kodak Thermal Direct plates, versions of Prinergy workflow, NexPress digital presses, Versamark VL inkjet press and the Flexcel NX flexographic CTP and plate system.

Can you name any milestone sales at previous PacPrints?

Australia’s first sale of a thermal CTP system – to Offset Alpine –  and multiple sales of Kodak NexPress.

PacPrint or PrintEx – what’s your favourite?

It's hard to pick a favourite. Both shows allow us to spend some valuable one-on-one time with industry professionals.

How can customers get the most out of PacPrint?

For this year, it will primarily be those who did not attend Drupa. They will potentially get to see new technologies shown at Drupa. The PacPrint show needs to be short and impactful.

How will you entice customers to invest?

By demonstrating the value in our unique solutions. Our products help printers save time, reduce waste and improve overall versatility and productivity.

What will you be showing at PacPrint13?

The NexPress 3900 digital press, Prinergy 6 workflow and Prosper head technology.

Can you give us any other hints about your stand or plans for the show?

We're still finalising our design at this stage.

PacPrint13 takes place at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 21-25 May 2013. Visit www.pacprint.com.au.
