PacPrint Q&A: Konica Minolta Australia

David Procter

General manager, production printing

Konica Minolta Australia

When was your company's first PacPrint?

In 2005.

Can you name any milestone launches at previous PacPrints?

At PacPrint 2009, Konica Minolta launched the Bizhub PRO C6500 series. In 2009, we also announced our partnership with Kodak to distribute the Kodak Nexpress.

Can you name any milestone sales at previous PacPrints?

No.

PacPrint or PrintEx – what’s your favourite?

PacPrint: it’s Australia’s Ipex or Drupa.

How can customers get the most out of PacPrint?

We would encourage people to attend PacPrint with an open mind and explore alternatives.

How will you entice customers to invest?

We will be showcasing technology to create new business opportunities, enhance productivity and profitability by reducing the number of human touches.

What will you be showing at PacPrint13?

We will show our full range of equipment with a suite of workflow applications, including products to be launched later in 2013. We will also showcase a range of KIP wide-format printers and will continue our strong partnership with Kodak for the Nexpress.

Can you give us any other hints about your stand or plans for the show?

We have made a decision to increase our investment for PacPrint 2013, understanding the value of these shows locally and hoping to encourage new people to experience Konica Minolta.

PacPrint13 takes place at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 21-25 May 2013. Visit www.pacprint.com.au.
