PacPrint13: Aldus Engineering

Aldus Engineering is one of only a couple of companies to have exhibited at every PacPrint show since its inception, and is back again in 2013 after a surprisingly successful exhibition in 2009 during the GFC.

This prompted Aldus to take a larger stand than it did four years ago. The booth will feature a Mark Andy Performance series press model P5 as its centrepiece. The press, which has been a major seller in Australia and New Zealand since its release in 2009, will feature the new Quick Change Die Cassette QCDC, the first time this has been exhibited outside the US. It was released by Mark Andy at LabelExpo in Chicago in September 2012, and was an instant hit with label converters. The first two were sold here directly afterwards.

Other equipment to be demonstrated on the Aldus stand include the new Rotoflex VSI-440 label inspection machine with the new Genesis controller and Nikka inspection system. There will also be a Web Techniques label rewinder and an updated version of the JM Heaford flexo plate mounter.
