PacPrint13: HP

The first Australian appearance of the new B2-format HP Indigo 10000 has grabbed the column inches, but HP will have more than just cutsheet kit to show at PacPrint. The vendor will also demonstrate its range of large-format printing equipment for sign and displays.

Visitors to HP’s 247.5m2 stand can expect to see its two latex machines, the HP Designjet L26500 and L28500 printers. The 2.6-metre L28500 can reach resolutions of 1,200dpi and is compatible with more than 500 substrates, including vinyl, fabrics, paper, film and low-cost uncoated papers for interior and exterior applications. Rachael Hunter, market development manager at HP Australia, says: “We’ll be demonstrating the various applications for latex, including POS, outdoor, vehicle graphics, decoration, photography, fine art and signs, incorporating a range of substrates.”

The booth is guaranteed to grab people’s attention with an initiative aimed at showing off the possibilities of latex. There will be a mock living room set up on the stand, which will be reskinned every night in various colour schemes and themes.

HP’s equipment will feature on a range of its partner stands, though at the time of publication that list hadn’t been finalised.
