Best known as a leading paper merchant, Spicers will be using its PacPrint presence to demonstrate its range of wide-format UV printers, finishing systems as well as consumables. The stand will come under the banner of the ‘Ideas Centre’.

Rohan Dean, emerging business manager at the Paperlinx-owned company, says: “The Spicers stand will be buzzing with our sign and display specialists, so we urge printers of all sizes, as well as designers, to drop by and experience first-hand our broad range of high-quality hardware and consumables products.”

Spicers is a local agent for EFI’s range of large-format presses. The stand will include an EFI Vutek GS3250LX, which Spicers describes as “a fully loaded, production-level LED UV printer with cool cure technology and increased productivity that offers a greener printing solution to satisfy your customer’s requests”. Alongside this machine will by the 3.2-metre EFI R3225 UV printer.

In terms of finishing, Spicers will demonstrate the RollsRoller flatbed applicator 280/145. According to the supplier, the machine needs just one operator to apply all types of self-adhesive vinyl, applicator film and protective laminate in just a few minutes. Spicers will also be showing the Fotoba XLD 170 automatic cutter.
