PacPrint13 to show marketers that print works

‘Think Print. Know Print’ will be the theme for the show, which is jointly run by the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA) Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA), and organised by Reed Exhibitions.

Reed has appointed Melbourne-based agency HIVE as the design and advertising partner for the event.

PacPrint13 chairman Ian Martin, trade general manager at Ferag Australia, said he hoped the show would help remind marketers that print is an important communications tool.

Martin added that the goal is to “send a clear message to those who make purchasing decisions that print is a key component of the communications mix which not only provides a fundamental springboard for new media, but delivers exceptional results across all areas, from advertising, to packaging, to signage and even printed electronics”.

More than 300 exhibitors are expected at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The PacPrint13 website is now live for visitors to log on and discover all the latest information about exhibitors and what they will be showing.

Exhibitors can access a locked Exhibitor Zone where they can access the exhibitor manual, download material such as logos and other marketing aids and access key show information.

Signage show Visual Image Impact Exhibition (VIIE) will co-locate with PacPrint13, following a successful partnership in Sydney with PrintEx11.

PacPrint, which is held every four years, was established in 1970 to showcase to the Australian market the world’s latest and most innovative printing and graphic communications technologies.
