Peter Carrigan resigns from Fujifilm Australia

In a career spanning 47 years in the printing and graphic arts industry,
Peter “Mr Fuji” Carrigan (pictured) was instrumental in the development and growth of Fujifilm’s graphics business for more than 30 of those years, following the Fujifilm agency through numerous Australasian distributorships including Sidney Cooke, Collie Cooke Consolidated, Sicpa, CPI, GSA, and most recently in the Graphic Systems division in Fujifilm Australia.

“It was time for me to move on from Fujifilm after over 30 years,” Peter Carrigan told ProPrint. “I have new projects I’d like to pursue.”

“Peter has been a leading figure in the graphics and printing industry for over 30 years,” said Fujifilm Australia managing director Dave Marshall. “I thank him for his contribution to Fujifilm over the years and wish him well for the future.

“I have asked one of Fujifilm Australia’s senior executives, Erik Lucis, to take on the role as acting general manager of the Graphics Systems division whilst we undertake the appropriate recruitment activities.”
