Pinnacle Print Group prints sports legend memoir

Victoria-based printer Pinnacle Print Group has revealed that it is producing the memoir of footy sports legend Gordon Yea, as written by his daughter Pamela Yea.

The book, titled TINAFI, which will explore Gordon’s life story, is co-edited by Naomi Johnson, daughter of one of PPG team members – Rod Johnson.

Pinnacle Print Group said the book is printed digitally using its HP Indigo 12000, with the outer cover featuring a 300gsm stock Ecostar 100 per cent recycled with an anti-scuff laminate finish.

The inner pages are printed on 100gsm, Ecostar 100 per cent recycled stock and finished with a perfect bound.

“The memoir recollects Gordon’s sporting career at North Melbourne FC, Essendon FC, and Brunswick FC to name a few, as well as his life in country Victoria & Melbourne,” Pinnacle Print Group said.

“We get many unique jobs, but this will go down in history as legendary with our Pinnacle Print Group team designing and preparing the typeset to get the book print-ready.”

Pinnacle Print Group (PPG) first fired up its presses in 1982 and said it has evolved and adapted by setting high standards at every level of the print process ever since.

TINAFI is available from Collins Booksellers Sunbury.
