PMA rebrands for global conquest

PMA Solutions has rebranded as PMA Global as it pursues an aggressive worldwide expansion plan just seven years after opening its first overseas office.

The Sydney-based print manager with turnover of more than $60m now has 150 staff in eight locations in five countries and ‘now plans further expansion into different regions in the near future’.

The company says the new name “more readily represents its position in the market as a global brand able to satisfy customers' needs in multiple regions”.

Founded by Phil Okill in 1988, it first expanded to Malaysia in 2008 then bought into New Zealand by acquiring Trio in 2011, and last year opened up shop in Brazil and most recently the Philippines.

PMA credits the growth to its online iSSD portal, which allows clients to directly manage their own print sourcing from design to delivery, streamlining PMA’s operations and making international expansion easier.
