Pozitive gains Monti Antonio distribution

Pozitive is adding sublimation presses from Italian manufacturer Monti Antonio to its textile ranks, with the company gaining exclusive distribution in Australia and the Pacific Islands.

Alessandro Silva, sales director of Monti Antonio, says, “Pozitive are experts in digital textile printing systems and I am very pleased to be able to work alongside them after watching their growth for many years. They have proven themselves to be technically competent, passionate about our industry and highly professional in representing major brands.

“I am excited to welcome them to the Monti Antonio family.”

Philip Trumble, managing director of Pozitive, says, “Our long history in apparel and sportswear markets, coupled with a strong foothold in the soft signage and graphics markets, will be the springboard to growth of the Monti Antonio brand in Australia and the Pacific Islands. Monti Antonio equipment completes our total solution offering and gels perfectly with our wide portfolio of quality printing equipment, transfer paper and inks, along with our expertise in colour management.”

Pozitive says to ensure continued growth of the Monti Antonio brand, it has also hired Buce Gathercole, a textile veteran with 25 years experience in representing the Italian supplier. Gathercole is joining Pozitive’s textile sales team in Melbourne.

Trumble says, “Bruce’s knowledge and expertise in textile printing and finishing made him an obvious choice to join our growing team. We have worked together on projects over the years and I am delighted to be able to have Bruce join our team in a permanent role, with a strong focus on textile markets.”

Gathercole says, “I am excited to join the Pozitive team and be given the opportunity to provide clients with our total solution offering which incorporates quality printers, consumables and the reliable Monti Antonio equipment, together with Pozitive’s renowned commitment to providing quality service and support to their clients which is an integral part of any total solution.”

Silva adds, “Ensuring our clients are well taken care of during any transition is critical to Monti Antonio. I am pleased to advise that our previous Monti Antonio agent Jacques Journee supports this new development and will work with Pozitive to assist in providing a continuity of quality service and support for the 100+ existing Monti Antonio clients.”
