Presstek’s Dimension Pro range expanded

According to Presstek, the new Dimension Pro 400 series can imaging up to 43 thermal plates per hour, depending on the model.

The Dimension Pro series of platesetters image Presstek’s chemistry-free Aurora Pro and processed Aeon thermal plates, as well as other thermal media.

Kathy McHugh, vice-president and chief marketing officer of Presstek, said: “We are excited to be bringing this addition to our Dimension Pro platesetter line to Ipex.

“It has the ability to image a wide range of plates from Presstek and other suppliers, including the new Aeon open platform plate.”

The third party-manufactured Aeon thermal processed plate marks Presstek’s attempt to break free of its chemistry-free niche and into the mass market.
