Claire Shoesmith, writing in Crain’s Manchester Business, reports that Tony Rafferty, chief executive and founder of Printing.com, is planning to roll out his $AU34m-turnover printing business in Australia in August.
“In fact, he is looking to add another 150 bolt-on franchises (that is where an established printing or design business agrees to channel all its printing needs through Printing.com) to the 250-plus outlets already located in the UK,” Shoesmith writes.
Rafferty told PrintWeek the company had been looking at the Australian market for some time.
“It is a nation of entrepreneurs to which our franchise model is well suited. We have had a strong response in our search for a print partner.”
