ProPrint Awards – How to Enter (and Win!)

Nominations for the 2021 ProPrint Awards which include the Power 50, Emerging 50, Supplier 50 and Industry Achievement Award are now open.

The ProPrint team has built a new portal, which can be found at www.proprintawards.com.au, for you to nominate and judge through to make the process simple and easy to follow. It includes nomination links for each category, judging information, past awards and details about the awards event.

Once a nomination is made in any category, the nominee will receive an email congratulating them on their nomination. It is important they click on the link in this email to complete their nomination submission. This involves answering some questions, providing a high-res head shot and their contact details.

Emerging 50 nominees wishing to enter to win the Mentorship Prize, in partnership with The Real Media Collective, will also need to answer some questions and supply a reference from their line manager to support their application.

Frequently asked questions

Can I self-nominate, or does someone else need to nominate me?

You can self-nominate OR be nominated by someone else. If you are nominated more than once, you only need to complete your nomination submission once. If you receive multiple ‘Congratulations’ emails, this means you have been nominated more than once – lucky you!

Is inclusion in any of the categories based on the number of nominations I receive?

No. Whilst you may be nominated by many people, you only need to submit ONE submission. This means you only have to respond to the criteria questions ONCE. For the Power 50 these responses will be scored by all Power 50 nominees as this is a 100 per cent peer-voted award. When nominations close, the submissions will be made available for all nominees to see and vote on. The top 20 Power 50 nominees will be ranked with the remainder announced and published alphabetically. An external auditor will confirm the results.

The Emerging 50 Mentorship Prize winner will be determined by an industry panel. When you make nominations for this category you will be asked if you would like to be a judge. Emerging 50 nominees have approximately five years’ experience in any print area. The Emerging 50 will be listed and announced in alphabetical order.

Industry Achievement Award nominees have 25 plus years’ experience in print and are regarded as having gone over and above to support and grow the industry. An industry panel of last year’s Top 10 winners in the Power 50 and platinum sponsor, Durst, will make the call on this one.
