Over the past two years, we have introduced eco-CTP plate processing, installed power efficient light bulbs and water savers on all taps. We’re using fewer chemicals, which has resulted in a quicker drying process. Customers definitely notice our green accreditation and everyone involved feels good about reducing their carbon footprint. Every part that can be recycled is recycled, which results in less wastage. The reduction in power and utility costs more than offsets the costs of recycling. As well as being eco friendlier, we save on operational costs and improve our turnaround times by being more efficient.

Choosing a lighter paper for your next print job will save paper and money. You could choose a part or fully recycled paper that is lighter than the stock you originally used. The extra cost of the recycled paper is offset by the savings on paper weight. You might also still have money left over. This encourages more recycling. Add a ‘Please recycle’ logo to your artwork. This will not cost you anything. Consider adding solar power to your home or office. Electricity from a domestic solar system is cheaper to generate and transport than energy sourced from large power stations of coal or gas. Disposal of recyclable waste can also earn you money.

Recycling used materials improves cost efficiency substantially because many waste collectors pay us for recycled goods. We can also provide our clients with eco-friendly requests as we know that all of our products are eco-friendly. It has certainly been a major selling point for our organisation.
