Canon Production Printing (CPP) has appointed Rodden Graphics to promote and distribute its UV inkjet press, the Canon LabelStream 4000 series in A/NZ.
The companies said this partnership enables Canon Production Printing to expand its presence in the Oceania label printing market.
The agreement between CPP and Rodden Graphics came off the back of the identification of a significant requirement in the region for digital label printing, driven by an increasing demand for manufacturing flexibility, on-demand production, high quality and reliable output.
As per the agreement, CPP will support the installation and servicing of the LabelStream across the A/NZ market via its service network.
CPP managing director Craig Nethercott said, “We’re confident that we can assist label converters looking to extend profit streams via digital print solutions.
“To support this growth, the LabelStream 4000 series will be available in both its core solution, providing the ideal introduction into the world of high performance inkjet label printing, as well as its hybrid configuration, enabling a complete inline production of high-quality, self-adhesive labels and a fully integrated, single-pass label conversion line.”
Rodden Graphics director James Rodden said, “We are pleased to partner with Canon and support its distribution for the Oceania market. The LabelStream 4000 series is a four- to six-colour UV inkjet press (CMYK, white and orange) that offers print speeds of up to 75 m/min and two print widths of 13-inches or 16-inches, resulting in an overall output of 1,845 m²/hr. It also aims to offer minimal set-up times, flexibility to mass customise contents and artwork, while enabling the shortest possible time to market.
