Starleaton opens house for three Memjet printers

Starleaton says its Melbourne five-day open house exhibiting three new high-powered Memjet printers will suit all print businesses looking to increase productivity with fast turnarounds. Speaking Australian Printer Ben Eaton, general manager sales at Starleaton, says the event will attract printers from all sections of the industry as the company showcases three machines capable of producing flyers, labels, posters and other wide format products.

Eaton says, “The goal is sell several machines and since this is our time exhibiting these printers in Melbourne we are expecting several new leads from the companies attending. “The Vortez 4200 targets several print applications, including CAD, AEC, GIS and point-of-sale graphics with a combination of speed and quality never before thought possible. “The high speed printer is suited for companies which print wide format, such as posters, banners and short term displays.” He says the five-day event at Starleaton Digital Solutions in Port Melbourne will also feature the Vortex 850R inkjet colour label printer. Eaton says, “At the heart of the printer lies a specially developed inkjet print engine designed by Memjet. This results in incredible throughput speeds of up to 12inches/300mm per second, at impressive print resolutions of up to 1600dpi. “We will also have the Xanté Excelagraphics 4200 inkjet print system, which changes everything you know about high speed wide format printing. Not only is it perfect for packaging applications but also for high speed point of sale production on a range of substrates.” He says the open house will explore the wide format and label printing market, with discussions on how the Memjet-powered printers can create new revenue and growth opportunities. Attendees can also expect to have access to live one-to-one demos, and a Q&A session with the company’s experts. Eaton says if a printer is unable to attend the open house, which is on now until September 4, and would like to see a product demonstration they can get in touch with Starleaton for a private demonstration. “Also, if customers are not in Melbourne, they don’t need to worry as there will be more Memjet open houses throughout the year to be held in the Starleaton showrooms around the country,” he says. This is the second year of collaboration between Memjet and Starleaton, which are the distributor of the three new machines in Australia Pacific region.
