US large-format folding kit lands at Ferag

Mark Pellman, sales and marketing director for Baum, which has been manufacturing machinery in the US for the past century, praised Ferag Australia’s “excellent sales and support staff”.

The deal currently covers Baum’s large-format range of 20-inch and 30-inch manual and autoset folders. Ferag also distributes Baum’s heavy-duty drills and cutters.

The US company also manufactures folders, guillotine cutters, paper drills, and creasing/scoring machines.

Ferag Australia’s Adam Newman said: “The addition of Baum quality folders and cutters means that printers and bookbinders have a genuine alternative to current offerings available in the market at a very competitive price.”

Ferag said there had already been interest from local printers and hinted at sales on the horizon.
