Watermarx makes its marks

The Watermarx holding device is designed to be used on a platen machine to hold photopolymer dies for foil stamping, embossing or debossing, which the company claims addresses the “flaws in previously developed magnetic mounts”.

Meanwhile, the company is also showcasing “Watermarx know-how” photopolymer “plastic” foil stamping and embossing dies, which it has identified as a cost-effective alternative to metal-based dies.

“Utilising dies made of steel backed photopolymer on a magnetic base system, enables the foil printer to offer customers a product which is commercially acceptable in quick time,” the company said.

Rounding out the product portfolio is the Watermarx Magnetic Lock up Device, which is designed to hold dies for embossing or debossing on a cylinder machine.
