Wide format show opens next week

With just over a week to go until Visual Impact Sydney opens its doors, organisers are urging industry professionals to preregister for the event now.

The show is gearing up to showcase design and MIS systems, digital printing, cutting and routing, POP, retail display and exhibition systems, structural signage and lighting technology.

Visual Impact has some 100 exhibitors including AVS, Avery Dennison, Currie Group, Canon, Epson, Graphic Art Mart, HP, Mimaki, Neopost and Roland DG.

Also on offer is a comprehensive seminar program featuring local and international experts who will cover a range of topics.

Diane Costa from Marketing Mechanics will be exploring social media, Australian Institute of Credit Management’s Andrew Le Marchant will offer tips to improve cash flow and handle overdue customer accounts, and Victoria Fratin from Two Sides Australia will give insights with her Print in a Digital World presentation.

Those who were given a taste of 3D print at drupa and are intrigued to learn more will be treated to a presentation by Paul Taylor from PES, who will explore the opportunities 3D printing is opening up for businesses in the sign, display and print market.

General manager of show organiser Visual Connections, Peter Harper is urging attendees to pre-register online to skip the queues.

Harper adds, “Visual Impact has a track record for providing business owners and decision makers with a range of ideas, solutions and technologies to help them build their business success and stay ahead in what is an increasingly diverse and competitive market.”

Visual Impact will take place in Halls 5 and 6 of the Sydney Showground next Thursday to Saturday September 15 to 17.
