Richard Ramirez: New to IQ Australia

According to IQ Australian his knowledge spans almost all areas in the software platforms of the modern print shop including network design, capacity planning and integration. The company says that on top of this he brings a wealth of skills in leadership and marketing. IQ Australia’s sales director, Adrian Fleming says: “After working with Richard for many years at both Creo and Kodak, when the time came for us to expand our team again into the Sydney market, he was the logical choice. This is an important time for IQ, expanding into the North American markets, so the knowledge that Richard brings with him from both a marketplace and product standpoint is second-to-none.” The sentiment is shared across the management team with Mick Rowan, IQ Australia’s R&D director, adding: “I had it in the back of my mind that if Richard was available then I wanted him as part of our team. When everything fell into place I became excited about the possibilities.” Ramirez will head up the integration team taking responsibility for integrating third party software with what the company says is the groundbreaking printIQ management workflow system. The role of solutions architect will see him create integrated solutions with the best and brightest on the market today. Ramirez will be based in Sydney but will take on international responsibilities in product marketing and management. He comments: “It is great to be part of the IQ team. The functionality of printIQ’s solutions are expansive and a genuine fit across the wide segments covered in the printing industry. I am thrilled to join the organisation and look forward to taking printIQ to a wider and more integrated market.”
