Xeikon unveils wider entry-level label press

The 3050 model tops the company’s 3000 series entry-level range and prints at 9.6 metres per minute using a scalable web width from 250mm to 516mm.

The press features an LED-array-based rotary printing system that produces 1200dpi resolution print on a range of substrates, including self-adhesive materials, as well as paperboards, paper with weights between 40-350gsm, and transparent and opaque foils.

Filip Weymans, Xeikon business development manager, said: “All Xeikon presses are designed to be upgraded, which prevents obsolescence. Any of the entry models can be field-upgraded to the higher specifications. A Xeikon 3030, for example, can be upgraded to the faster Xeikon 3300 or the wider models.”

Local Xeikon distributor Absolute Innovative Solutions said the machine would be available in Australia from the beginning of next year.
