Adelaide Signs installs HP Latex 360

Adelaide Signs has installed a new HP Latex 360, on the back of 20 per cent year-on-year growth t has achieved for the last three years. The signage company, which operates with four staff, provides services including all things signage as well as branding, design and stationary. Speaking with Australian Printer, Kent Lauritsen, director of Adelaide Signs for the last nine years, says it was the right choice for the company to purchase a machine that is completely different to those it operated previously.

Lauritsen says, “We had three criteria when we went looking to purchase, and the HP ticked all of those boxes and provided us with extras such as printing on a variety of media. “The main feature that interested us was the instant dry, which enables for faster turnarounds. “It has also led to savings as we are not working overtime on the one machine, and the HP can produce twice the amount of work in less time.” Lauritsen says, “It was up and down a few times as we were figuring it all out which is quite normal. And finding the correct media was also a challenge. “But as soon as we figured out its media compatibility things went smooth. And now it produces high quality prints at twice the production speed. “We also have a Roland 540 so now we are able to run two machines at the same time which increases productivity and flexibility.” Lauritsen says providing excellent service and keeping promises it made to its clients has led to the company’s constant growth. “We have been growing somewhere from 15 to 20 per cent year-on-year for the last three years and that is why we invested in the new machine,” he says. “We are growing because we provide exceptional service to our customers and we are fair to them with pricing. We also ensure we deliver what we said we would. “And everyone that works here is passionate about what they do and love their job, which contributes significantly to the business’ success.”
