Anitech launches 3D media

According to Anitech, PURE3D allows colour print and imaging with anywhere from 3 to 5 perceptual dimensions on an ultra-thin, fully recyclable polypropylene substrate.

The company adds that unlike other 3D materials, PURE3D’s patented process allows spectacular new creative concepts to be developed without the need for specialist software or the viewer to wear special eye wear.

Neil Gomez, business development manager, consumables at Anitech says, “PURE3D is ideal for packaging, print, marketing and promotional companies. It sets new horizons for designers and brand managers so that fresh, memorable, powerful eye-popping messages can be realised straight from the printer without any complex setup or aftermarket 3D glasses necessary.”

Applications include, POP, POS, backlit displays, posters, retail counter mats, ATM’s, packaging such as boxes – panels – DVD covers, printed covers and inserts, direct mail pieces, business and promotional cards.

PURE3D’s ability to accept opaque whites and metallics allow additional image depth to be created and its double sided printability means coatings and varnishes can be added for additional effects.

Gomez adds, “PURE3D’s patented, multidimensional nature permits enhanced levels of security protection and fraud prevention to be encoded directly into designs.”
