ASGA offers free membership for 2020

The Australian Sign and Graphics Association (ASGA) has announced that membership to join the association is now free for 2020.

In a statement, the association mentioned that membership across its member categories are free to all companies until 31 December 2020 as businesses navigate through the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

“In an effort to assist employers during this challenging COVID-19 period, [we are] offering free membership to all companies until 31 December 2020. It means that companies who are not current members can join and receive all the latest employer/employee information which has been compiled by ASGA’s Business Adviser,” it said.

Such documents include response for employers in dealing with employees, stand down letters, redundancy letters, a reduction in ordinary hours letters, a reduction in remuneration letters and treasury fact sheets.

For over 40 years, the association has been the representative body for the sign and graphics industry in Australia, covering the whole spectrum of signmakers, engravers, sign installers, signwriters, graphic designers, sign educators and apprentices, as well as sign industry suppliers.

The association also mentioned that for current members, 2020 membership will be extended until 31 December 2020.

“As the first six months’ membership of the ASGA is free, a membership invoice will be issued for the period 1 January 2021 – 30 June 2021 and it will be for $275 (incl GST),” it added.
