The awards are in recognition of outstanding achievements and innovations in print, label and packaging industries across the region.

David Minnett, managing director of Group Momentum says, “In the case of the Janssen-Cilag detail aid that won the award, as soon as I saw the final printed result I knew it was a stand out item and one that my digital print services team can be very proud of producing.”

Also, New Zealand based label printer Hally Labels won the Labels and Flexible Packaging category. The Awards were presented at the APJ HP Indigo Print Awards gala dinner, held in conjunction with the InfoTrends Digital Printing Seminar in Singapore last month.

Aimed at inspiring print businesses to embark on the transition towards digital printing, the Awards attracted more than 200 submissions across 12 countries in the region and were spread across eight categories.

Winning entries were selected based on their degree of innovation and creativity, marketing appeal, use of digital technology, paper selection, use of ink and colour, finishing and packaging and overall aesthetics.

PT Suburmitra Grafistama from Indonesia and A&P Coordinator from Singapore won the Marketing Collaterals award, and Artron Enterprises from China won the Limited Editions and Art Reproductions award.

Canvera Digital Technologies from India took out the Photo Books / Coffee Table Books category and A&P Coordinator and PT Suburmitra Grafistama took the Packaging award.

Also, PM Digital Products from India won the Speciality Printing while Chinese based Beijing QL-Art Printing won the Events and Campaigns category.
