Australian Printer March issue now online

Hosted by Realview, the March issue of Australian Printer is available in the same format as the core printed product, but with videos embedded in the stories.

Readers can click the cover image under ‘LATEST AP ONLINE’ on the i-grafix website, or go to australianprinter.realviewdigital.com to see the online version.

The pages appear in the same format, and are turned digitally. Readers can also hyperlink through to advertisers’ websites and special offer pages.

The March issue has the annual Digital Printing Buyers Guide, where we look at the new generation of B2 sheetfed digital presses that are now appearing, as well as half a dozen Vendor Focus pieces. We also have an exclusive report from Gareth Ward on the biggest digital event of the year, The Hunkeler InnovationDays in Switzerland

We have two digital print business focus features, with SOS Print + Media and Carbon8 sharing their insights – both are growing businesses using digital technology to drive their businesses forward.

We also have two wide format print businesses featured, both established as one man bands at the turn of the century, both of whom are investing in new technology to take their businesses into new markets, and both of which are seeing good growth year after year.

Using digital media to market your business is becoming increasingly important, and the March issue of Australian Printer has an exclusive feature by search engine optimisation specialists Atomic Search highlighting the best ways to make sure your website is seen by the most number of people.

We also have a feature on marketing for SME’s, and sales guru Dave Fellman’s piece this month is on the topic of defensive sales. Fellman got some great feedback from readers for his first column in last month’s issue.

PacPrint is coming fast and the March issue of Australian Printer has a dozen of the leading exhibitors explaining why printers should scoot down to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Finally with print under increasing pressure many printers are looking to the packaging segment as a potential growth area, and they are not wrong. We have a report form leading research institute, Smithers Pira, which shows that folding carton, flexible, rigid plastic, metal and glass packaging will all grow significantly over the next three years.

Brian Moore, publisher of Australian Printer says, “The new online version of Australian Printer complements the printed version, and means we can reach more print professionals. The new March issue is jam-packed full of valuable articles, as well as the month’s news.

“Australian printer has remained the number one print title in Australia for the past 63 years because it has been able to innovate. If any readers have feedback, I would be happy to receive it.”
