AuzPrint goes digital with Canon C6000

Steve Rigby, owner of AuzPrint says, “We knew that our business could benefit by investing in a more capable digital device not only from a cost perspective but also quality.”

Since its installation in July this year, AuzPrint has been running anything from flyers, business cards and brochures through to saddle stitched books and birthday invitations on the imagePress C6000.

AuzPrint claims the imagePress C6000 has improved AuzPrint’s productivity, with a significant reduction in the number of paper jams, along with the devices ability to self-calibrate throughout jobs.

Also commenting, Michael Van Halen, Pre-Press Operator at AuzPrint says, “The imagePress C6000 is easily adjustable to job requirements and has vastly improved the productivity of staff. Rather than having to babysit the machine due to frequent print jams, we can start preparing for our next job.

“We have also found that some regular jobs have decreased in the time taken to run by as much as two-thirds, allowing us to complete more work in a day.”

This announcement follows the installation of an imagePress C6000 at Brisbane based InHouse Print & Design earlier this year.

Paul Thompson, general manager, Production Print Systems, at Canon Australia says, “The recent uptake of Canon imagePress devices in Queensland demonstrates the changing needs of the market and also the benefits that can be achieved through Canon’s technology.”
