With more than 400 installations worldwide, basysPrint is already a specialist in the Computer-To-conventional-Plate (CTcP) technology. The next steps in the growth will target a rapid increase of its share in the world market.
Friedrich Lüllau, basysPrint president, says, “We can look back to 2003 as the most successful year in the company’s history. We succeeded in selling significantly more UVSetters than in the years before. We aim to continue this development consistently, based on our longstanding and intensive research and development work.
“Growth, however, also requires more and more capital, for example for further production capacities. We have therefore decided to involve a financially strong partner – the Haspa Holding Company Hamburg (Haspa BGM). It was important for us to remain ’master of the house’ despite the acquisition of a shareholding and, in particular, to find a partner who speaks our language.”
Haspa BGM sees basysPrint as an ideal addition to its portfolio. Carsten Röhrs, Haspa BGM president, says, “basysPrint has set its operational course unequivocally to a successful future. It offers an excellent product portfolio, the employees are highly qualified, the company has a clear structure, and the sales and marketing department is internationally oriented.
“We will now provide a solid financial basis for growth in the future. The preconditions for entering the international market are as good as they have ever been. We see a great potential in basysPrint.”
