BJ Ball adds wide format to Icon

BJ Ball is adding wide format digital papers to its Icon range for the first time, looking to cater to a greater number of Australian printers. Icon previously featured just small format digital printing papers, for which BJ Ball says it has 2500 customers nationwide. The new wide format additions will cover the gamut of printing technologies, with substrates suitable for aqueous, solvent, eco solvent, UV, latex and rigid machines.

Brands include Mactac self-adhesive products, which cover anything from outdoor wall wrap to cars, bubble-free; and Yupo polypropylene substrates with blockout, backlit and Octopus grades. ClingZ, a white and clear polypropylene for point of sale work that sticks to ‘virtually anything’ and can be applied both sides; and C-Board fibre based rigid substrates are also in the mix. The Icon wide format range will be available as part of BJ Ball’s Iconsignment Inventory Management System, which automatically orders a top-up from the BJ Ball trucks once stock falls to a predetermined minimum.
