Russell Carr Paper specialises in supplying print franchises including Snap, Kwik Kopy, Minuteman and other small to medium firms. It was established in 1971 by brothers Peter and Alan Hawkins, taking its name from the middle names of both brothers. Alan retired from the business in 2009, leaving Peter as sole director. Luke Wilkinson, general manager of BJ Ball Merchanting, says, “Peter has developed a wonderful business over the years and we have always enjoyed a strong mutually beneficial partnership. We believe with Russell Carr’s long standing customer relationships and BJ Ball’s strong presence in the digital market that it is the perfect fit for both businesses.” Hawkins adds, “The acquisition of Russell Carr Paper provides the opportunity for all our existing customers to access a wide range of new and innovative products and the latest in technology including i_Consignment and BJ Ball’s online ordering portal.”
