The UK vendor said the Brightblue system would reduce estimation costs and let inexperienced estimators produce accurate quotes. It has options for sheetfed offset litho, digital and web printing.

Chief executive Mark Wragg is flying over from the UK to demonstrate the system at PrintEx11.

“Brightblue is completely different to most MIS estimating approaches, using a new genre ‘route-based’ technology to calculate the most efficient way of working – and hence, lowest cost – for every job, based on the printers’ specific combination of equipment, costs and preferences.”
