With around 35 years in the graphic arts industry, Bruce is best known for his many years at what is now MAN-Ferrostaal, where he looked after sheetfed and label printing.

Hughes, who began this new phase of his career last week, tells ProPrint he is looking forward to the sheer diversity of the product range at Graph Pak.

“Graph Pak has a vast range of agencies, covering sheetfed, postpress, labels, newspapers, commercial web and packaging. There’s enough in the product portfolio to crisscross through different parts of the industry, and I like that. It enables you to generate more sales, which is a big plus,” he said.

Hughes sees the supplier sector as “more of a challenge and a bit of adventure … and I still have ample contacts throughout different parts of the industry.”

“At Graph Pak, I hope to achieve reasonable sales with our well-known brands, which include Autobond, Busch, Rima, Omet, and others in the specialised graphic arts equipment market.”
