Canon wins big at BLI awards 2016

Canon’s imageRunner Advance series has taken out two awards at the Buyers Laboratory LLC’s 2016 awards, including the A3 MFP Line of the Year award and the Outstanding 20-ppm A3 Colour MFP award. The BLI awards gives special recognition in each category twice a year to products that provided the most outstanding performance during BLI lab tests. BLI says its award system stands out, as the awards are based on a rigorous battery of lab tests over a two month period.

The evaluation includes a durability test, while other product attributes including ease of use, image quality, productivity and value are also taken into consideration. Canon’s imageRunner Advance C5250 MFP series took out 2016’s A3 MFP Line of the Year award, while its imageRunner Advance C3320 series won Outstanding 20ppm A3 Colour MFP. Commenting on Canon’s win BLI editor, George Mikolay, says the company has consistently offered outstanding products across its entire A3 line. He says, “From its reliability and ease of use, to its innovation and customisability, Canon’s A3 line is the industry benchmark among its competitors.” Marketing general manager of Canon Australia’s business services, Tom Sullivan says, “As a trusted brand and company that invests in innovation, Canon is grateful to receive the recognition as the leader in the industry, and we will continue to innovate and develop our products and solutions to enable our customers to achieve more.”
