Cheque-Mates GM raises money for cancer research

Edwards took part in the epic cycle as part of the SunSuper Ride to Conquer Cancer earlier this month, which has so far raised $5.7 million.

The Cheque-Mates GM is no stranger to long rides: in 2010, he completed a 1,000km ride from Tamworth to Sydney to raise money for Westmead Children’s’ Hospital.

Edwards, who has been with the Sydney-based trade supplier for eight years, has raised  $3,692 so far and is calling on ProPrint readers to help him hit the $5,000 goal.

Donations close tomorrow, so head to Edwards’ page on the charity website to donate now.

More print people who took part in the event were Bronwyn and Julian Aitchison, directors of Lester Printing, based in the suburb of Castle Hill in Sydney.

Their Havago team of seven riders raised nearly $21,000. Click here for the photos.
