CHILI Publish cancels its presence at drupa

CHILI Publish has cancelled its presence at drupa 2020 due to the ongoing spread of coronavirus COVID-19 and will instead run a series of dedicated webinars and individual meetings to showcase the features of its software.

The company was set to have a booth at drupa but has decided to cancel saying it is putting the health and safety of its global team first by reducing their large scale exposure to COVID-19 and ensure business continuity.

It added the company is taking precautions as advised by leading health organisations in its personal and business environments.

CHILI publish CEO Kevin Goeminne said, “drupa is the highlight for anyone in print and packaging. Our team worked hard to deliver new features within the Smart Templates in CHILI publisher, as requested by B2B printers, brand owners and agencies. However, we have a responsibility towards our team, partners, customers and the whole community worldwide to ensure that business continuity and full operability prevail at all times.”

“The company therefore regrets the cancellation at the key print event that only takes place every four years.”

Chili Publish said confirmed customer and prospect meetings are being rebooked to individual meetings, dedicated webinars and online (one-on-one and/or group) meetings. The company is currently investigating alternatives to reach and serve the drupa visitor audience, with new features to be announced as scheduled towards the end of April.
