Clickmedia installs new Océ Arizona with help of tax break

Senator Nick Sherry, who is also Assistant Federal Treasurer, and the Member for Lindsay, David Bradbury both visited Clickmedia and expressed keen interest in how this company has upgraded its technology, using the Rudd Government’s Small Business Tax Break covering 50 per cent of the investment cost.

Nick Sherry says, “The Small Business Tax Break has encouraged operators to buy equipment they need for their businesses now, supporting the economy and helping to create opportunities for jobs and growth.”

Clickmedia’s General Manager, Brendan McKeown says, “With the assistance of the Federal Government’s investment tax allowance, we made the decision to purchase a next generation large-format printer that enables us to take on work that was never before possible. We chose the Océ Arizona 350 for its image quality, format and the fact that it runs rigid and flexible roll media with ease.”

Meanwhile, David Bradbury has encouraged Penrith area businesses to take advantage of the Small Business Tax Break, with great success.

Bradbury says, “Businesses have until the end of the year to purchase equipment to be eligible to access the Small Business Tax Break (for businesses with a turnover of $2 million or less). I encourage all local businesses in our community to take advantage of this initiative.”

Clickmedia was established in 2000 from a professional photographic background and has grown into an all-round digital printing business covering virtually all formats from A5 up to A0 and beyond. Colour A4/A3 is performed on the Océ CS650pro with mono documents running through the Varioprint 2090. Clickmedia also operates Canon wide-format printers and a Xerox machine.
