Connect09 scales back to one day

The event, scheduled for October 19 and 20 at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney, has been restructured as a one-day ‘master class’ to be held on October 19.

“With October traditionally a busy time of the year, attendees have indicated that a more condensed program featuring the key speakers would provide the best value,” said organiser Eliot Harper.

“We decided to scale the forum to a master class format where two of the world’s leading industry experts, Barb Pellow of InfoTrends (pictured) and Andy Tribute of Attributes Associates, will review the trends and developments that will shape the future of the printing industry.”

The new format will include sessions focusing on key market and business opportunities, online enablement, emerging digital applications, and a review of key announcements from Print 09.

“We believe the master class format will suit the delegates better, and a roundtable will encourage debate and enable the audience to interact on a more personal level with Barb and Andy,” said Harper.

In addition to the forum program, both Pellow and Tribute will deliver briefing sessions to industry vendors. Briefings will include updates on the worldwide printing market, emerging global trends and technologies, key product announcements for 2010, and open discussions.

Further details and registration can be found at the Connect09 website. Briefing sessions with Pellow and Tribute can be arranged by contacting Eliot Harper at eliot@connectaustralia.com.au.
