Creo Positive Thermal Plate

The company will also use the new Creo Positive Thermal Plate (PTP). This Creo developed plate is suitable for long-run lengths with no pre- or post-baking. Creo says the plate has great press performance, batch-to-batch consistency and offers wide-processing latitude.

Historically, 71 Interscan Company has produced very high quality plates for more than 200 printing customers in advertising and publishing in Asia and Europe using a computer-to-film workflow with Creo Dolev imagesetters. With the installation of the Trendsetter 800 Quantum CTP device, 71 Interscan Company anticipates a significant increase in quality by using Staccato screening from Creo.

Creo says Staccato screening produces near photographic-quality of print with an expanded colour gamut and sharper detail in highlights as well as shadows.

Preeda Petchpahan, 71 Interscan Company owner, says, "We are very pleased to be moving to CTP with Creo. Staccato screening will deliver an added dimension of quality for our customers".

Upgrading the 71 Interscan Company prepress department began last year with the installation of the Creo Prinergy workflow management system. The sale at drupa was arranged through dealer, Intergrafica Print & Pack of Bangkok.
