Currie given nod for HP Indigo

The new agreement enables the Currie Group to supply a wider range of HP Indigo presses, inks and media in the Australia and New Zealand markets, and expands on a ten year partnership between the two companies.

The HP digital presses distributed by the Currie Group will now include the new B2 HP Indigo 10000 press, and the HP Indigo 7600, 5600, WS4600 and the W7250 Digital Presses.

Steve Donegal, manager HP Indigo and HP South Pacific, says “With the improved productivity and quality of the HP Printing Systems, digital colour printing is now even more cost-effective and efficient than analogue offset for a large proportion of PSPs’ work. I’m confident that with the strong market expertise and customer-oriented focus of Currie Group, PSPs can look to take on new applications and excel in their marketplaces.”

With the introduction of the new range the company aims to improve the customer experience with the launch of standardised training classes.

David Currie, executive chairman Currie Group says “The Currie Group has worked hard to establish our reputation as the leading Australian-owned graphic arts provider. We are proud of this reputation, yet we know that without our partnerships with our suppliers and customers, we would not be able to offer the value-added solution we do today.”
