Currie to keynote as Women in Print returns

Angeline Wyatt, Heidelberg’s patron for Women in Print confirmed next year’s speaker to be Stacey Currie, an inspirational author, speaker and entrepreneur from the printing industry.

Wyatt says, “We’ve listened to feedback from our guests and they are telling us they want to hear from other successful women in their own industry.

“Stacey is a prime example of a self-made woman who is not only successful in our industry, but further afield. I think her story is extremely relevant to our audience and believe our guests will enjoy her talk immensely.”

A mother of five, Currie has grown a small business – Signs ‘n Banners – from $100 worth of sales per month to $100,000. Organisers says that at only 31 years, Currie is living proof that determination, hard work and self-belief can lead you to success.

Nominated in the 2010 Telstra Business Women’s Awards, Currie is the ambassador of the Lighthouse Foundation for young mothers and has written a book on her life that will be published in January.

During the Women and Print programme, Currie will share her views on overcoming adversity, how to feel inspired and empowered to take your dream to the next level and make it happen.

Organisers outline, “Her message is clear – no matter what obstacles in life are thrown at you, you can still make your dreams come true.”
