Cyber offers Mitsubishi platesetter solution

The completely automated platesetter is designed to image Silver DigiPlate paper or polyester plate materials, and is being heralded by Cyber due to its environmentally-friendly operation. It is purported to use up to two-thirds less processing chemistries, and is optimised for use with two new specially formulated chemistries that will last up to three months without changing.

It is capable of imaging up to 78 plates per hour at 1200dpi, but is also capable of imaging at 1500dpi and 1800dpi. Plate sizes range from 229x220mm up to 414x580mm, with an optional punching system available. The platesetter also comes with a Harlequin Script Works Rip for Windows NT.

Cyber says that the Mitsubishi SDP-Eco 1630II offers printers an affordable step into CTP, while also providing significant time and cost savings due to its processing speed and inbuilt efficiencies.
