Czech printer uses helicopter to install HP press

Instead HSW, HP’s Czech distributor, decided to airlift the press in with a helicopter. Even so, from delivery to installation and testing, the project only took three days.

“We wanted the HP Designjet L65500 printer to help expand our exhibition and display printing services. We are particularly keen to attract new customers who are looking to meet green guidelines in their print buying procedures,” said Martin Vejmola, general manager and owner of Bono Art.

“Our only obstacle was getting the printer to our facility…so HSW arranged delivery by helicopter. This has to be a unique delivery method, but one that has proved to be a total success for us. Now we can look forward to starting production.”

The HP Designjet L65500 printer is a six colour roll-to-roll wide format press with a maximum 1200x1200dpi resolution.
