Dalton launches new paper

The Alpha brand has been sold by Dalton for more than 25 years, and the company says the new Alpha 3000 has retained all the aspects that made it successful as well as improving the formulation of whiteness and brightness to match Australian market demand.

Dalton says the new paper is defined by its outstanding press performance, its efficient feed and exit on the press, exceptional ink lift and good opacity. The paper has excellent folding capabilities and is available in both gloss and matt finish in three weights.

Its light weight (64gsm, 73gsm, 80gsm), together with its superior bulk, converts to exceptional value for money when used for printing long-run publications such as magazines, catalogues and direct mail, according to Dalton.

Alpha 3000 is manufactured using Elemental Chlorine Free (EFC) pulp, which is sourced from plantation forests and produced in accordance with ISO 14001 environmental standards. The Japanese mill has recently upgraded its facility, enabling production capacity to double, ensuring Alpha 3000 is readily available at all times, to cater for high demand.
