DGS Mimaki launches new printers

The flatbed UJF-706 will print onto stock up to 150mm thick – that’s almost six inches – at resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. Brad Creighton, marketing manager at DGS Mimaki says, “The UJF-706 is in a class of its own, its ability to print on stock up to six inches thick and at high resolution is unrivalled.”

The UJF-706 is also aimed at the flexo and packaging proofing market, with Mimaki teaming up with colour specialist GMG for control of its six-colour ink set.

The UJF-3042 is a desktop A3 UV curable flatbed printer, aimed at the short run market, and heat sensitive materials. It uses LED lamps, so minimising heat. It has a white ink as well as CMYK. It is described by Creighton as ‘a business in a box’.

DGS Mimaki also had a wide range of Mimaki printers on the stand, including the JFX and JFX Plus printers, which also has LED lamps.
