Diethem Keller sells Lamtex duo

Tom Ralph, Diethelm Keller national sales manager for packaging, printing and converting, says, “Lamtex now has seven installations in New Zealand and we now have five into Australia. This has all taken place in the last three years. The Australian market, for some reason, has been a lot harder to crack than the New Zealand one, but we are now off and running.

“We have just installed an Emerald 76 machine into Western Australia and another into Cellkote in Botany, Sydney. The installations have just taken place and both customers are very happy with the machine so far. The guy who bought the unit for Cellkote is that happy with the machine that he is talking about a second one straight up. We are really happy with the way it has taken off.”

Lamtex develop a range of laminating machines to suit individual requirements, ranging from trade to in-house printing operations. The company relies on consultation with its customers to build machines that are modular in design and can be easily upgraded or modified to perform higher volumes or specialist tasks, a mandate which the company says is responsible for it achieving installations 30 countries around the world.

The Emerald thermal laminator, one of the Lamtex laminating products offered by Diethem Keller, is a B1 – SRA4 sized machine, capable of laminating at 30m per minute, or 5000 sheets per hour.

Ralph will shortly be making the trip to Düsseldorf, Germany, where Lamtex will be displaying at drupa in Hall 10, stand B56.
