Digital label awards: HP calling for entries

HP launched the competition in 2007, in order it says, to promote quality and ingenuity in the digital label and package printing market. Entries should represent the distinctiveness of their company, prove their progressive printing capabilities, and showcase an impressive execution of a digital production challenge.

HP Indigo customers are invited to submit their entries by August 10, with categories including:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Flexible packaging
  • Folding carton
  • Food
  • Health & beauty
  • Household
  • Industrial
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Nutraceutical
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Self-promotion
  • Shrink sleeves
  • Wine

The entries are to be judged by a panel of independent, industry-recognised experts. Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded on September 24, at the HP Indigo Digital Labels Packaging Contest Awards ceremony at Labelexpo Europe 2009. HP Indigo partners, including AB Graphic International and EskoArtwork, will take part in the award ceremony.
