Doggett launches bright digital paper

KW Doggett is launching a new range of smooth specialty paper for digital printers seeking vibrant colour.

Doggett digital business development manager Jon Roberts says the ‘Pop’Set’ papers, which come in ‘lime tonic’, ‘cosmo pink’ and black, have the brightest colour on the market.

The ultra-smooth papers are manufactured by UK-based Arjowiggins and are suitable for both HP Indigo and dry toner machines, and come in a 320gsm board weight and a 460×320 sheet size.

Roberts says Pop’Set can be used for annual reports, advertising, brochures, business cards, greeting cards and invitations, direct mail, folders, menus, stationery, swing tags, promotional print, and luxury packaging.

He says the paper merchant intends to keep looking for more exciting specialty products over the coming years.

"Our Doggett Digital portfolio is starting to carry a really diverse range of products incorporating coated, uncoated and specialties and even vinyls,” he says.

“We’ve also just added Sovereign in the iGen long sheet and a B2 sheet for the HP Indigo 10000.”

Doggett commissioned Melbourne printers McKellar Renown Press and Intelligent Media to produce A5 cards to promote the new paper featuring a graphic printed with CMYK, opaque white ink or a mix of both.

The company says it shows ‘attainable and affordable options’ that can be applied to Pop’Set to bring a burst of colour to projects.
