Ducor boss Moio joins Moore board in director reshuffle

Moore is a publicly listed print management company that was formerly connected to Paragon Printing, which PMG acquired out of administration in April.

Moio, John R Lee and Trent Harris have all become independent directors of the company, while former directors Amir Hyster and David Glavonjic have resigned from the board.

Hyster remains the major shareholder and will be represented on the board by Trent Harris, who will act as non-executive director. Glavonjic remains chief executive of Argus.

Print Media Group acquired Paragon from administrators Hall Chadwick at the end of April and said it would be renamed South Pacific Print Group,.

In a statement to the ASX, Argus chairman David Paterson said: “[Argus’] main operating subsidiary, Moore Australasia, is continuing to develop and implement technology-based solutions to create an environment for improved workflow processes that integrate into existing proprietary information management systems.”

“With an expanded service offering and a renewed focus on unlocking value associated with our considerable intellectual property, we plan to increase our earnings capacity with existing clients and expand our market share among the top 500 companies in Australia and New Zealand,” he continued.

Moore Australasia broke off from its print side, Paragon, and office products division Moore Office in January 2010 to merge with Argus as a way to get a “backdoor listing” on the ASX.

Paragon Printing went into voluntary administration with Hall Chadwick on 5 March. It was acquired by PMG in late April after a high-profile period of uncertainty, during which stood-down workers went on strike amid national news coverage and prolonged negotiations involving the AMWU.
