Easy Signs co-owner Andy Fryer has identified the development of new products as the key driver of growth for the 2025 calendar year.
“Our next big push for the year is into new products,” Fryer told Sprinter.
“This focus is driven by our new product team managed by our process improvement and innovation manager, Amy Abdilla Darr. She now has four people reporting to her, with one person based in the US, and we have just hired a third person for our Australian team.
“We have built a model of lightning-fast custom manufacturing, and we are now looking at ways that we can plug in more products that fit our business model of being more efficient and automated, as this is how we have managed to build the business,” he said.
“We want to maintain a strong average order price and any new products will need to follow our approval processes, which includes strong documentation, improved efficiencies, synergies within our existing business, and potentially the purchase of new equipment.”
While Easy Signs has only grown organically over the last two decades including, expansion with a factory in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2022, Fryer has not ruled out local or overseas acquisitions.
“Up to this point, we haven’t acquired any businesses for growth; however, we are now considering acquisitions as a way to fast track our entry into both the merchandising and packaging sectors,” Fryer said.
“We are interested in companies with a good online business model, generating revenue between $3 – $10 million dollars, and with a proven concept that we could integrate into our manufacturing funnel.
“With our large manufacturing facility setup in the US, we would look to integrate these businesses into our 24-hour manufacturing model in Australia, and then replicate them into the huge market overseas.”
Easy Signs first opened its US operations with a $US2.8 million investment for a 6700sqm in March 2022.
