ECRM to present high quality violet CTP at Ipex

Through unique design and state-of-the-art manufacturing, ECRM’s products deliver fast payback with ease of use for both commercial and newspaper printing applications. They also offer optimum output flexibility, with the ability to change plate formats and press registration system in a few seconds.

With exceptional accuracy and repeatability – delivered reliably and consistently – ECRM violet CTP products facilitate higher print quality and economic low runs, with significant cost and time benefits to makereadies. ECRM vice president, Derek Sizer, says overall, they optimise the benefits of violet technology to offer combinations of speed, value and cost of ownership.

“Where Ipex 2002 established violet CTP as a practical alternative to thermal offerings, this year’s exhibition is a real opportunity to show why it has become the technology of choice,” says Sizer. “With a history of delivering ‘no-nonsense’ imaging solutions and with over 1000 CTP installations worldwide, ECRM will demonstrate the ultimate value in violet technology, which provides reliability, ease of use and low cost of ownership with no compromise in quality.”

The ECRM commercial portfolio has been designed to meet the needs of the B1, B2 and B3 printer, providing products ranging from an entry-level 2-page platesetter to an eight-up CTP solution.

Among the solutions ECRM will be showing at Ipex are: the Mako 2 violet platesetter; the new Mako System CTP; the new Mako System 4x; the new Mako 4matic; the NEWSmatic; and the Mako8.

Sizer says ECRM is dedicated to giving its customers the highest value in imaging quality, which they will have the chance to see at stand no 07-B44 at Ipex.

“Our product portfolio continues to grow to accommodate the changing needs of the market,” he says “Ipex provides the ideal opportunity to show the strength and depth of our current ranges for newspaper and commercial printers, and to gather market feedback on new opportunities for violet imaging including processless production.”
